Building a TYPO3 extension in Extbase/Fluid
Introduction
Most of the topics here should reflect current versions of TYPO3, though I started writing this a few years back based on an older version.
My coding helpers are sorted into three categories. Read an overview on the topics of each of these categories on the respective pages or directly access the helpers through the Topics list at the bottom of the page.

Notes on the TYPO3 cache
Sometimes, especially in older T3 versions, it is not enough to clear the caches via the backend scripts. Try emptying the folders /typo3conf/compressor/ and /typo3conf/Cache/ and/or truncating the DB tables beginning with cf_. Since T3v9LTS these problems appear to have been dissolved.
